Aims

To enable schools to deliver effective careers education and guidance programmes for young people aged 11-19.

 

Objectives

By the end of the course participants will:

  1. Understand the features of good careers education for young people in schools and colleges
  2. Explore ways of developing better practice in Careers Education and Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) by:

    - improving career learning process
    - meeting learner needs
    - working in partnership with external agencies and organisations
    - evaluating the impact of CEIAG
