Target Audience:

Any staff who work with 14-19 year old young people in education and training.

Event Notes:

Background

The 14-19 online prospectus, helpyouchoose.org, was launched in September 2007. The prospectus is becoming the definitive source of opportunity information for young people, parents/carers, education staff and advisers. From September 2008 a Common Applications Process (CAP) will become part of the Prospectus which is designed to enable young people to apply online for all post 16 opportunities in Norfolk.

 

Objectives

To enable education and training staff to be:

  • familiar with the 14-19 Prospectus and CAP
  • ready to introduce the Prospectus and CAP to young people aged 14-19
  • able to support young people to use the prospectus and apply online

    Costs

    Costs, including refreshments, will be paid by Connexions Norfolk.
