Target Audience:

E2E and Work Based Learning Providers, Programme Managers, Contract Managers, Placement Officers Recruitment Co-ordinators, Connexions Personal Advisers

Event Notes:

Aims/Objectives

To enable participants to:

  • Understand the developing context for Careers Education and IAG (CEIAG) in 14-19 learning
  • Review existing programmes (E2E and Apprenticeships) in relation to:
    - the National Framework for Careers Education and Guidance
    - Inspection requirements for Careers Education and Guidance
    - The new DCSF Work Related Learning Guide
  • Identify resources that can be used within existing programmes to enhance the career learning and development of learners
  • Understand how the online 14-19 Prospectus and Common Applications Process can be used with learners
  • Develop plans to improve CEIAG with learners.
